Osteria Francescana Is The Best Restaurant In The World - Now Discover Bread Is Gold By Three Michelin Star Head Chef Massimo Bottura

Osteria Francescana is the Best Restaurant in the World, with Head Chef Massimo Bottura creating food for the soul with his three Michelin stars. And his restaurant chain Refettorio really does cook for the soul - from left overs. And with his book Bread Is Gold, Massimo invited his cooking pals to create their own left over dishes. And now you can too.

Massimo offers a holistic look at the subject of food waste, presenting recipes for three-course meals from 45 of the world's top chefs, including Daniel Humm, Mario Batali, René Redzepi, Alain Ducasse, Joan Roca, Enrique Olvera, Ferran & Albert Adrià and Virgilio Martínez. The 150 recipes turn everyday ingredients into inspiring dishes that are delicious, economical, and easy to make.

This however is a sample dish at Osteria Francescana. Gorgeous - but no left overs!

The Jesus of Modena feeding the masses.

Should you be tempted to make the journey to the restaurant with 12 covers in Modena. A word of warning because runner-up this year El Celler de Can Roca, when it won the title in 2013, saw its website got 12 million hits and the restaurant had to hire three extra staff just to turn down requests for tables.
