The Ritz Paris Auction - A History Of Paris In Five Days Of Auctions In The Sale Of The Century

Beginning tomorrow April 17, The Ritz Paris is holding five days of auctions selling off it's history. The hotel re-opened in 2016 after a major re-fit, so you can treat yourself to it's historic old fixtures and fittings. Imagine who sat here or bathed there. Whether you fancy a bed, bath, club chair, bar stool, barber's chair or a Ritz crockery set. Everything is here. In a collection of 10,000 items  I quite like the dressing tables and stools. Just like my Sindy doll used to have.

Maybe you fancy the Coco Chanel Suite?

Or you fancy a little bit of literary history with this 10-foot leather sofa that had once graced the Hemingway Bar, the watering hole at the Ritz where both Ernest and F. Scott Fitzgerald drank.

Or The Windsor Suite. We know which couple slept here.

Or maybe just a set of towels and bathrobes.

Life the way we want to live.
