Barbie Doll Honours Hubert de Givenchy

To commemorate the recent death of one of our greatest couturiers, Hubert de Givenchy began his career working with the titans of the fashion industry; Elsa Schiaparelli and Cristóbal Balenciaga. But maybe his most iconic work was with Audrey Hepburn. And Barbie doll created collector dolls to celebrate the designs he created for Audrey's screen roles.

Perhaps the most famous is the LBD at Breakfast at Tiffanys.

The 1998 Audrey Hepburn Holly Golightly Barbie doll also came with a coffee cup and Schraffts's bagel bag.

And Audrey was pretty in pink with this Audrey Hepburn Tiffany's Pink Princess Barbie Doll also from 1998.

The Audrey Hepburn Sabrina Barbie doll was released in 2013.

And the Audrey Hepburn Princess Ann Roman Holiday Barbie doll was also released in 2013.

Barbie was also created wearing this Givenchy design from 2000. With a slim-fitting, black evening gown accented by velvety straps and a striking black moire panel. Jet-black faux fur stole with matching black moire lining and long, black opera-length gloves.

Givenchy Design Barbie Doll.

Only available from private sellers the dolls are a gorgeous tribute to both Audrey and Hubert.
