A Wrinkle In Time Disney's New Easter Movie

Directed by Ava DuVernay, A Wrinkle in Time looks so good. Starring Storm Reid as a young girl Meg, who learns to bend the rules of time and space on a quest to save her astrophysicist father, played by Chris Pine, from captivity in another dimension.

Along her journey, she’s helped by three otherworldly beings: Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Whatsit. Played by Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon. Meg’s mother is played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who also guides her to her father.

Go Disney. Although when first mooted they would only advance $30million for the film in 2010, but now that women of colour are on board and the family is mixed race, Disney are all systems go for the female centred film. Ava is the first woman of colour to direct a $100million+ film and I hope it will be a huge success.

They all look amazing in the Paco Delgado costumes. Such is his attention to detail that when dressing Eddie Redmayne as Marius in Les Miserables, Paco said: “It took a really long time to get the color (of his trousers) right, a lot of tests and dying to get this teal with shades of blue and grey in it.," Delgado recalls. "It matches Eddie’s eyes.”

Prepare to be amazed.
