Justin Thomas Takes USPGA 2017 Title

A late but necessary night this side of the pond to see Justin Thomas take the USPGA 2017 title.

Moving day Saturday didn't happen with no one able to take control and force a change. That Bermuda turf really was a mystery. But the final two hours Sunday were very exciting when any wayward shot could mean disaster with the leaders so tight.

My favourites over the weekend were dropping off the leader board and to be honest I was hoping for Matt Kucher, Ricky Fowler or Francesco Molinari. But Jason Day was quite the athlete and looking like the winner until he ruined it on the 18th the day before. I didn't care for Kevin Kisner as he kept spitting on the course which did not look attractive. But Patrick Reed and Louis Oosthuizen were there with a fighting chance. Hideki Matsuyama kept his nerve for such a momentous occasion and it was lovely to see Jordan Spieth and Ricky rooting for Justin on the 18th.

But it was Justin's day and he looked fantastic in his Ralph Lauren shirt.

Huge congratulations. And sweet that Netjets gave him an upgrade for the trophy.

Let's hope the flight was smooth.
