Elie Saab Paris Haute-Couture A/W 2017

One of the big winners on the catwalk at Cannes this year with so many beautiful ladies wearing Elie Saab gowns. And for his couture A/W 2017 collection Elie has looked to the Court of Camelot and the writing of Sir Walter Scott and his Ivanhoe for inspiration. The embroidery in sumptuous medieval style heraldic designs. Poor Lancelot wouldn't have stood a chance if Queen Guinevere had worn any of these beautiful gowns. The bright colours and rich fabrics ensnaring him with their beauty. And imagine The Lady of the Lake normally presumed to be in white maybe wearing some of the golden gowns. And The Ladies Rowena and Rebecca with gallant Ivanhoe. Rowena would have worn the blues and Rebecca the reds. And the bridal gown may be worn by a fairy princess with her attendants. Such are these incredible gowns that fairy tales can happen when wearing them.
