Stoppers: Photographs from My Life at Vogue By Phyllis Posnick

A book of show stopping photography from the pages of Vogue by Phyllis Posnick. Known as stoppers, the photographs, initially by Irving Penn, that were so strong they literally stopped you as you flicked through your magazine. Stoppers: Photographs from My Life at Vogue is dedicated to him.

Phyllis has worked at Vogue for over 30 years and worked with photography's great. As well as Penn she has worked with Helmut Newton, Tim Walker, and Steven Klein. All masters of photography and well known to Satchel readers. But she credits Penn with her photography education and always asks, 'What would Penn do?'

256 pages of blow you away fashion.

If ever so slightly painful.
