The Royal Ballet In Balanchine's Jewels Live Rehearsal

The Royal Ballet are currently rehearsing the three-act ballet Jewels live from The Opera House. With choreography by George Balanchine.


The ballet will be explored using NYCB staff on whom the ballet was originally created. Looking at the costumes and history of staging the ballet.

And then Royal Ballet Principals Sarah Lamb and Steven McRae will rehearse a section of ‘Rubies’. Followed by Marianela Nuñez and Thiago Soares rehearsing ‘Diamonds’.

Balanchine created the ballet after seeing the gorgeous jewels at Van Cleef & Arpels.



All that glitters is gold with these beautiful and incredible dancers.

The ballet will be at The Opera House, Covent Garden.
From Saturday April 1 - Friday April 21.
