Moschino Milan Ready-to-Wear A/W 2017/18

Bravo to Jeremy Scott, proving that you can look good in a paper bag at Moschino's runway show yesterday. He presented gorgeous tailored suits and coats in camel. Or brown paper packaging. Tied up with string. Or bubble wrap and parcel tape borrowed from an Amazon warehouse. And a kaleidoscope of colour with designs in pages torn from magazines. And of course the bags as outerwear. The sole safe black trouser suit was fabulously cut. The evening wear was a collection of inspired housewares. A shower curtain, bin liner and dry cleaning bag all had their uses. I would buy the whole collection. Stephen Jones outdid himself with the hats. Including a cousin of Lumiere. And the bags were fabulous. Just don't get them wet! As 'corrugated cardboard' does not react well to water.

Franco Moschino must be somewhere laughing and applauding this collection.
