Guerlain Shalimar Perfume

Inspired by the love between Emperor Shah Jahan and Princess Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built for her. Guerlain Shalimar makes a gorgeous Valentine gift.

Created in Paris in 1920. It crossed the Atlantic in 1925 to New York where it was a roaring success.

Oriental voluptuous, sensual, spell binding. Tonic top notes of fresh flowers and bergamot are calmly intrepid. Like the savvy disorder of rumpled silk sheets, powdery notes of iris, jasmine and rose suggest or promise sensual embraces. The creamy softness of addictive vanilla, the penetrating charm of iris, the balmy roundness of sweet myrrh and the gourmand warmth of Tonka bean orchestrate an intimate symphony of scent for languorous interludes.

Guerlain Shalimar Perfume. From £43 at House of Fraser and Boots nationwide.
